Tuya App Not Connecting to Horizon Pergola

If your Horizon Pergola is not connecting to the Tuya Smart app, follow these steps to complete setup and restore smart control.

The Horizon Pergola uses the Tuya Smart platform for mobile app control of the roof louvers and LED lighting.

If the app cannot find the pergola or setup fails, the issue is usually related to Wi-Fi settings, pairing mode, signal strength, or account permissions.

Step 1: Install the Correct App

Download and use:

App Name

Tuya Smart

Create or sign in to your account.


Step 2: Enable Pairing Mode

The controller must be in pairing mode before the app can detect it.

Flashing light usually means ready to pair

If no flashing light appears, power cycle the pergola and retry.

Step 4: Use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi

Many smart controllers do not support 5GHz-only setup.
