Installation & Liability FAQs

This article explains how Hanso Home’s Professional Installation Service works, including roles, responsibilities, and how we work with certified installation partners.

❓ Who performs the installation?

Installations are completed by certified installation partners assigned to your order.

These are trusted, professional installers who specialize in assembly and installation services and are approved to install Hanso Home pergolas and awnings.

❓ Are installers employees of Hanso Home?

No. Certified installation partners are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Hanso Home.

They independently perform all on-site installation work.

❓ What is the installer responsible for?

When a certified installer is assigned, they are responsible for:

  • Performing the on-site installation

  • Providing their own crew, tools, and equipment

  • Managing job-site safety and workmanship

  • Carrying required insurance for installation services

  • Coordinating installation logistics directly with you

❓ What is Hanso Home responsible for?

Hanso Home is responsible for:

  • Designing and supplying your pergola or awning system

  • Coordinating with certified installation partners

  • Supporting customers with product questions, warranty, and after-sales service

Once your order is ready for installation coordination, your assigned installer will contact you directly—typically by phone or email—to introduce themselves, confirm details, and schedule your installation.

❓ Who is responsible if something goes wrong during installation?

Certified installation partners are responsible for the installation work they perform, including workmanship and all on-site activities. They carry their own insurance coverage for installation services.

Hanso Home remains responsible for the product itself, including warranty coverage related to manufacturing defects or product issues.

❓ Does Hanso Home control how the installer works?

No. While Hanso Home provides product specifications and installation standards, certified installers independently determine the means, methods, and execution of the on-site installation work.
