Follow Hanso’s foundation and anchoring standards for safe installation of Pro+, Master+, and Awning systems.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

🧾 Overview

Proper mounting ensures structural stability and maintains each model’s rated performance.
Install only on solid, level, load-bearing surfaces capable of supporting wind and snow design loads.

▼ Hanso Aluminum PRO+ Pergola

  • Mount on reinforced concrete slab, deck footings, or anchored structure.

  • Use supplied base plates and stainless-steel anchor bolts for outdoor use.

  • Avoid soil or unbraced wood decking without under-structure support.

▼ Hanso MASTER+ Pergola

  • Requires reinforced concrete footings or engineered mount points.

  • Follow the provided bolt-pattern specifications for load distribution.

  • In coastal zones, use corrosion-resistant hardware and sealants.

💡 Tip: For rooftop or deck installs, consult a licensed engineer for load verification.

▼ Hanso Electric Retractable Awning

  • Must be wall-mounted to structural framing (studs or masonry).

  • Select mounting hardware based on wall material (wood, concrete, steel).

  • Do not mount to siding or non-load-bearing facades.

⚠️ Compliance Notes

  • All anchors must meet ASTM structural standards.

  • Inspectors may require mounting drawings or engineering letters for permits.

  • Always follow the official Hanso installation manual for bolt patterns and torque values.
