The Apex Pergola is Hanso’s premium motorized aluminum pergola line. It is designed for customers who want a modern outdoor structure with adjustable shade, built-in lighting, durable aluminum construction, and a clean architectural look.
Apex was formerly known as Master+. Some older manuals, labels, packaging, or support materials may still use the Master+ name.

Apex does not have a manual version. All Apex Pergolas are motorized.
Motorized adjustable louvers
Apex uses motorized louvers that allow you to adjust the roof position for sunlight, shade, airflow, and rain protection.
With the remote control, you can open or close the louvers depending on your outdoor needs.
For example:
Open the louvers for sunlight and airflow
Partially close the louvers for shade
Fully close the louvers for more coverage from light rain
Apex is designed as an outdoor shade and comfort product. It is not intended to replace a fully sealed indoor roof system.
Integrated LED lights
The Apex Pergola includes integrated LED lights to help make your outdoor space more usable and comfortable in the evening.
The LED lights are built into the pergola design and are controlled as part of the motorized system.
LED lighting is useful for:

Electrical access is required for the motorized louvers and LED lighting. Before installation, confirm that power access is available near the installation area.

A freestanding Apex Pergola is installed as a standalone structure.
A wall-mounted Apex Pergola attaches to a suitable wall or building structure.

Premium aluminum frame
The Apex Pergola is built with an aluminum frame designed for outdoor use. Aluminum is commonly used for pergolas because it is durable, modern-looking, and suitable for long-term exposure to outdoor conditions.
The frame must still be properly installed and anchored to a suitable surface.
