🏗️ Purpose
When installing on soil or during patio construction, individual concrete footers form the pergola’s permanent foundation.
⚙️ Footer Setup Steps
Layout Marking
Use the pergola’s Outer-to-Outer Post dimensions to mark corners.
Excavate Footers
Each hole: 400 × 400 × 400 mm (16″ cube).
For 13×19 (double bay) models: six holes total.
Add Rebar Reinforcement
2–3 horizontal + 2 vertical rebars (T-shape grid).
Pour Concrete
Use 25–30 MPa (3,600–4,300 PSI) strength concrete.
Level surface precisely using a spirit or laser level.
Cure 72 Hours before installing baseplates.
Anchor Using M12 Wedge Bolts.
💡 Tip: Mark diagonal measurements on the ground before pouring — correcting later is difficult.
⚠️ Avoid
Pouring all four footers in one unmeasured batch.
Anchoring before concrete has fully cured.
