Pro+ Pergola – Baseplate Measurement Guide

This guide explains the baseplate dimensions and anchor hole configuration for all Pro+ Pergola models (Freestanding and Wall-Mounted, Manual and Motorized).

Updated this week

The baseplate is the structural mounting component where each pergola post is anchored to the ground or surface footing.
Accurate baseplate positioning is essential for stability, proper water drainage, and long-term alignment of your pergola.

⚙️ Baseplate Overview

All Pro+ Pergolas use the same standardized baseplate design across every configuration (Manual / Motorized / Freestanding / Wall-Mounted).
This allows for consistent anchor positioning and footer preparation, regardless of pergola size.

📐 Baseplate Dimensions

Specification

Metric (mm)

Imperial (in)

Plate Width

180 mm

7.087″

Plate Depth

140 mm

5.512″

Thickness

8 mm

0.315″

Anchor Hole Diameter

10.7 mm (slot width) × 20 mm (slot length)

0.42″ × 0.79″

Hole Count

8 (4 corner slots + 4 center holes)

Corner Hole Radius

R10 mm

0.394″

Center Hole Spacing (Horizontal)

50 mm

1.969″

💡 Tip: The elongated slots (10.7×20 mm) allow for slight adjustment during installation, helping compensate for surface irregularities.

🧩 Mounting Configuration

  • Each pergola post baseplate features four corner anchor slots (for primary fixation) and four central alignment holes (for reinforcement or drainage).

  • Baseplates are pre-welded to the post with integrated leveling pads inside the post column.

  • Corner slots are designed to accommodate M10–M12 bolts or 3/8″–½″ anchor bolts depending on your substrate.

Key Points:

  • Outer slot-to-slot width: 180 mm (7.087″)

  • Outer slot-to-slot depth: 140 mm (5.512″)

  • Central holes: aligned symmetrically for balance.

  • Corner radius (R10): prevents stress cracking in powder coating.

💡 Tip: When aligning multiple baseplates (e.g., for double bay pergolas), ensure corner-to-corner symmetry and equal spacing based on the “Post-to-Post Measurement” guides.

🧰 Installation Guidelines

Step

Recommendation

1. Prepare the Footing

Minimum concrete pad size: 400 × 400 × 400 mm (16″ × 16″ × 16″) per post.

2. Mark Anchor Points

Use the baseplate as a template — mark anchor slot centers before drilling.

3. Drill Anchor Holes

Use M10 or M12 expansion bolts (or equivalent) based on surface type.

4. Level the Post

Adjust with washers or shims under the baseplate if surface is uneven.

5. Seal Anchor Area

Apply weatherproof silicone sealant around anchor points for protection.

6. Verify Drainage

Ensure pergola drainage holes are not obstructed by anchors or sealant.

🧩 Additional Notes

  • Baseplates are powder-coated aluminum to match post color (Pure White / Dark Grey).

  • Hidden under baseplate covers for a clean finish.

  • Drainage channels are integrated inside the post column.

  • Designed for flush-mount installation on level concrete, deck, or tiled surfaces.
