Getting ready to assemble your Horizon Pergola 10x19 ft? This guide helps you prepare, choose the correct installation section, and find the instructions you need in the full manual.

Start with your installation manual

Covered sizes: 10x19 ft and 13x19 ft. Configurations: Freestanding and Wall-Mounted.

This manual covers the longer 10x19 ft and 13x19 ft layouts. Its parts list includes posts A1–A6, divided beams, and left/right driven louvers. Identify these components from the diagrams before assembly; do not use the smaller-size manual as a substitute.

Before you unpack and assemble

  • Confirm your order: Check the size, mounting configuration, motor position, and drainage direction against your order drawing. The drawing provides order-specific details that a general manual cannot.

  • Plan for the lifting: The manual requires at least three people for installation, with two people to lift parts from the packaging.

  • Check every component: Compare the parts and hardware with the illustrated lists. Keep the packaging until assembly and the parts check are complete.

  • Protect the finish: Lay parts gently on a protected surface. Remove the protective film during installation; heat and weather can make it difficult to remove later.

  • Prepare tools and sealant: Review the tool list for your configuration. Installation tools and silicone sealant are not supplied.

Understand the installation sequence

  1. Identify the frame and posts. Use the part labels to distinguish beams, gutters, posts, louvers, and covers before fastening anything.

  2. Follow your mounting section. Freestanding and wall-mounted installations begin differently. For wall-mounted assembly, use its dedicated instructions and the cross-referenced freestanding steps.

  3. Check alignment as you go. The manual calls for checking post position and frame alignment before securing the structure. Do not rely on the product photo for dimensions or anchor locations.

  4. Install and connect the roof system. Follow the diagrams for driven louvers, connection bars, motor connections, and covers in the stated order.

  5. Complete the function checks. Check the roof movement, remote response, and lights as applicable before considering the installation finished.

Electrical and mounting questions: Use a qualified professional for electrical work and site-specific fixing decisions. If the wall, surface, hardware, or drawings do not match your setup, ask Hanso Support for clarification before proceeding.

Remote and app setup

The remote is normally paired at the factory. If it needs pairing, use the sequence in your size-specific manual. For Tuya app setup, prepare a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enable your phone’s Bluetooth. Follow the app section to connect and share access with family members.

After installation

  • Keep the drainage path clear of leaves and debris.

  • Inspect fixings and sealing components regularly; the manual calls for checking screws at least annually.

  • Follow the manual’s care instructions and avoid abrasive materials or corrosive cleaners that can damage the finish.

  • Use the separate instructions for any sunshades, shutters, or other accessories included in your order.
