The Hansø MASTER+ Pergola features a fully integrated electrical system designed for simple setup and long-term reliability.
Each pergola includes a sealed tubular motor, transformer, and pre-wired power connection, allowing smooth operation through remote control or smart automation.
This plug-and-play design eliminates complex wiring and ensures compatibility with standard outdoor power outlets.

📌 The transformer and motor assembly are factory-installed inside the pergola’s beam and post system for a clean, weather-protected setup.
Power Connection Setup
Locate Post A1, which houses the transformer and power cable.
Plug the power cable directly into a grounded outdoor outlet (GFCI recommended).
Keep cables away from moving parts or standing water.
Once powered, press the STOP button on the remote to test connection.
💡 If power isn’t available near the pergola, have a licensed electrician install a weatherproof outlet within 6 feet of the structure.
Smart App (TUYA) Setup
For smartphone or voice control, connect your pergola using the TUYA Smart App:
1️⃣ Plug in the Wi-Fi Smart Hub (sold separately).
2️⃣ Open the TUYA Smart App and select “Add Device → Curtain Switch (Wi-Fi).”
3️⃣ Hold the transformer’s white button until the blue LED flashes.
4️⃣ Follow the app instructions to complete pairing.
5️⃣ Once connected, control the louvers and lights via phone, Alexa, or Google Assistant.
📲 The TUYA Smart Hub uses 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.
Lighting Connection (Optional Accessory)
The transformer includes a dedicated LED output port.
Connect Hansø’s optional LED Lighting Kit for integrated illumination.
Control the lights from the same remote or TUYA App.
Lights are low-voltage and energy-efficient, designed for safe outdoor use.
💡 Lighting automatically powers off when the main pergola circuit is disconnected.
Safety Notes
Always connect to a GFCI-protected outlet.
Do not use extension cords or indoor outlets.
Keep the transformer and plug area dry at all times.
Disconnect power during storms or long periods of non-use.
Do not modify or splice the factory wiring.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Periodically inspect cables and plugs for wear or damage.
If the louvers stop responding, verify the outlet and transformer indicator light.
Reset the transformer by unplugging for 10 seconds, then reconnecting.
